The Mission and Five Foundations of the ASA The mission of the ASA is the commitment to making sure their members have the choices, information, and services they need to live healthier, wealthier lives.

The Five Foundations of the ASA reflect their core beliefs on major key issues which are: The rebuilding of national values. The reform of the Social Security system The reform of the Medicare system. The reform of the tax code. The control of government overspending.
